After two days of competitions and three performances, Bellbrook’s Winter Guard places 9^th at WGI Championships. The guard’s show was entitled “Where the Sidewalk Ends” based off the poem by Shel Silverstein. Bellbrook’s guard has 18 members who are directed by Sheldon Apo.

Seniors Samantha Thomas and Keely McGree commented about their experiences in winter guard. They both agree that their favorite parts of guard include making friends and “making it to finals because we pushed so hard.” Keely added that “Where the Sidewalk Ends” is “a beautiful show and very simple.” As these seniors approach their graduation day, Samantha mentioned that the hardest part for her is “the end, because the girls become your family and it’s hard to let them go.”
