Police found three abandoned children in Portland, Oregon,
Thursday evening. The investigation began around 9:25 a.m. when a man heard
children’s voices coming from a shed behind his house in East Portland. Police
officers arrived and found numerous homeless people along with three small
children, the youngest thought to be between 8 to 15 months old, another child
about two years old, and oldest child around 3 years old. The homeless people told
the police that the children had been abandoned by a woman just the night
before.
With no leads in the case, authorities are pleading for any help
identifying the children who are currently in protective custody and being
medically evaluated. Anyone with information on the case should call the DHS
