What’s there to do in Cincinnati? Actually a lot more than you probably think. There are many events and activities teens can take a part of this summer in Cincinnati that are worth getting off of the couch to do.

Why not go to a Reds game? Special promotions, such as reduced price bleacher seating, also make it cheaper to go to the ballpark. The Reds have been doing great this season and cheering them on might help continue their winning streak.

If you’re not a sports fan then take a trip down to the Cincinnati Zoo this summer. It is always interesting to watch how closely their behavior is to humans and learn about their adaptations. The Zoo also puts on my shows involving the animals such as cheetahs and elephants. They also choreograph a show where birds interact with both their handler and the audience called Wings of the World.

If you think that the Zoo might be a little too hot to go to you might want to check out the Cincinnati Museum Center to cool off. The Children’s museum portion isn’t just for children; it has a lot of fun activities and models for all ages. That goes for the history section as well—it’s not just for geeks. It actually provides a lot of interesting facts on Cincinnati and isn’t just a boring page out of a history book. The natural history and science section is really intriguing and the models of prehistoric animals put visitors in a wonderful fantasy world. Speaking of fantasy world, you can’t forget to see a movie at the OmniMax. It is like a vacation without leaving Cincinnati.

There also is Kings Island for a fun trip to the theme park, the Contemporary Art Museum for a new look into what’s on the art scene, eating at various restaurants (Skyline, LaRosa’s to name a couple), visiting various Hamilton County parks, and so much more!

Whatever you plan to do this summer just remember there are things to do in Cincinnati you just have to get up and look around. Explore your surrounding—who knows you might find something you really enjoy.
