Mrs. Rains is new to the Greenwood Christian School teaching staff.
She currently teaches vocabulary, spelling, and grammar to the middle school students. She said that she wanted to teach middle school. “I love the way the kids get so excited about learning,” Rains said. Not only does Mrs. Rains love teaching Middle School students, but she loves what she teaches to them.
When asked about her background, she said that she has taught school for 31 years. She taught in Kentucky and in Abbeville County. While in Abbeville she taught at Right Middle School.

I asked a student what it what it was like to be in her class. The student I interviewed is a seventh grader and she said that the seventh grade currently works on diagramming and quizzes during class time. According to the student, her class can be hard at times, because she will tell you about a quiz two days before the class are supposed to take the quiz. Mrs. Rains also assigns a lot of homework. Between the homework and quizzes assigned by Mrs. Rains, the student says it is hard to balance her class with the other curriculums.
