Ben Marshall is holding the door for everyone. When everyone is through the door he walks up to people and asks how their day is going. If someone is having a bad day he will ask if he can do anything to help.

Many students have recognize Ben's friendliness and politeness.

"He is a very nice guy and I like hanging out with him. He is one of the first people that welcomed me here at Greenwood Christian School,” said Jelena Kozjak, senior.
Ben Marshall has returned to Greenwood Christian after being gone for one year, during which he attended Greenwood High.

Marshall said that the students at Greenwood High accepted him warmly. He also said that while he was there that over one hundred people accepted Christ.

Mr. Marshall, Ben’s father, said Ben has a really strong walk with the Lord. He gets up at 6:30 to read the Bible and takes notes that will change his life and his walk with the Lord.

“One of my favorite classes is Bible because it is the most important class that you can take. You can also apply it to you daily life. It can change a lot of things about the person that you are,” said Marshall.

Ben is a senior now and has so many classes to do.

“One of my hardest classes is calculus because I am not a very strong math student and Mrs. Goforth challenges us to do it,” said Marshall.

Mr. Marshall said that Ben is a good student who makes all A's.
"He is respectful to the teachers and he also helps others out, said Mr. Marshall.

Ben said that after graduation he plans to major in communications and I would also like to become a sports announcer,” said Ben Marshall, senior.

Ben said that he will miss his friends from GCS and his family when he goes off to college.

“I will miss my family because I always know they love me and they will support me in the decision that I will make and they will also be there for me,” said Ben.

Ben said he enjoys spending time with his family.

“To be at a school where my dad teaches is great. I am glad he is here. It is very convenient when he is here. I know he is a good teacher,” said Marshall.

Ben said he also enjoys traveling on vacation and playing sports with his family.

“I think Ben Marshall is very proper, a really nice guy and a good student. You can count on him to be there for you when you need someone to talk to.  He is also a really good friend to others and will help them out whenever they need the help and he can become friends with just about anybody. He makes friends without having any problems with that person. He is a very nice guy and I like hanging out with him. He is one of the first people that welcomed me here at Greenwood Christian School,” said Jelena Kozjak, senior.

Great job! Ben is indeed one of the nicest young men I have taught in 20 years! He is a great encourager - it comes naturally for him...one of the few students who has actually come up to me after a class and said "Thank you for teaching me." !
