On August 22, 2012, the romantic comedy, Hit & Run, hit theaters giving the audience a place to see love, car races, jealousy, and gun fights all mixed into one.

Starring Kristen Bell (Annie) and Dax Shepard (Charlie Bronson), the comedy takes twists and turns not only in the car but also in the love roller coaster.

Charlie falls in love with Annie small town, where he must live because he is a part of the witness protection program for witnessing a crime.

Annie and Charlie are a couple in love in a small town, where Charlie must live in since he was placed in the witness protection program for witnessing a crime, or so Annie believes.

Everything seems to be going perfect for the couple until Annie gets a once in a lifetime offer to teach at a university in Los Angelos. Although Annie wants the job, she decides to turn it down so Charlie can be safe, but they take their chances and make the road trip instead.

Bell and Shepard actually do a great job playing the couple who fight, make-up, and find something special inside each other. Although it shouldn’t be hard for them since they are in engaged in real life.

Even though on a time crunch, the couple runs into more obstacles than they ever thought they would encounter.

Annie and Charlie are soon being chased byAnnie’s extremely obsessed ex Gil (Michael Rosenbaum) and Randy (Tom Arnold), Charlie’s Federal Marshal in charge of his case. They also run into Charlie’s old best friend Alex (Bradly Cooper) and his crew, who are ready to get revenge since Charlie snitched on them for the bank robberies.

This almost chick flick doesn’t only appeal to women who enjoy some love, but also to the guys who like to enjoy a cool car race and bullets flying every where.

The movie is also filled with cheap but funny jokes, random nudity, and the idea that when loving someone, it shouldn’t matter what their past is like but who the person is at that moment.

Hit & Run didn’t disappoint and is a great date movie for anyone looking for a little love and action at the same time.
