When thinking of Wisconsin, there can be many things that are associated with it. Summerfest, the biggest music festival in the country, or perhaps what comes to mind is Madison and all it's foundations including UW-Madison and the Badgers. There's one thing though, that's seemingly always been a part of Wisconsin. This happens to be the Packers, and all things associated with them.

First of all, when one thinks of the Packers, they most always think of “cheese heads”. This is because the fans of the Packers are so loyal and dedicated to them that they decide to make the most out of Wisconsin being the dairy capitol of the United States. There are so many reasons supporting the idea of becoming or staying, for that matter, a proud and loyal Packers' fan.

A pretty obvious reason to hop on the Packers bandwagon is that they're the reigning Superbowl champs. This could not have happened without much hard work put in by all the players, coaches, and staff of the Packers; and also by the loyal dedication from the fans.

Second, the Superbowl trophy, the Vince Lombardi trophy, is named after the coach of the Packers team who led the Packers to their first Superbowl win back on January 15th, 1967.

Third, there is something that makes the Packers more unique than any other team in the NFL. They are the only team that is not owned by a sole owner; rather, they are owned by multiple stockholders.

Lastly, the Green Bay Packers are the third oldest franchise in the NFL, and have always remained in Green Bay, a small football centered city.

There are so many reasons why one should become a Packers fan. The previous reasons stated are just a few out of the many. The warm, rich traditions of the Packers will forever be etched as a huge part of Wisconsin's roots and origins and history, and will surely never be forgotten.
