When you just can’t get enough Mexican in your blood from watching the Spanish Channel, or maybe you don’t even get the Spanish Channel. Have no fear, Mexican is here.

There are plenty of Mexican restaurants in Fort Dodge to solve your problem.

The newest restaurant, Los Aztecas, is located on 5th Ave. S. by Tom Donney Motors.

It has any kind of burrito, enchilada, or taco you want. Plus, they have specialties and feature homemade items such as corn tortillas. Los Aztecas is open from 10 a.m.-10 p.m. everyday.

La Hacienda, a Mexican restaurant also on 5th Ave. S. on the edge of town, is open from 11 a.m.-9:30 p.m. on Sunday.-Thursday and 11 a.m.-10:30 p.m., Friday and Saturday.

On their menu are items such as tacos, burritos or enchiladas as well as combos that include different numbers of tacos or burritos or other items that come as a meal.

Another Mexican restaurant, Lomitas, is by Crossroads Mall on S. 25th St.

It features a buffet with tacos, burritos and other foods and toppings as well as sides like rice. They are open from 3 p.m.-9 p.m. Sunday-Thursday and 3 p.m.-10 p.m., weekends.

Every restaurant is very cheap. You can get a small meal for five dollars or so. All the restaurants have chips and salsa served when you’re seated and they replenish your supply as often as necessary.

Plus, the Spanish Channel and Mexican music can always be heard to help the “atmosphere.”
