Nate recently defeated the number one senior golfer in the state of Georgia Matt Nagy of Taylor County. Nate defeated Nagy by 2 strokes. In a prior tournament, Nate was beaten by one shot, when Georgia’s 2nd ranked golfer, Evan Hanna from Tift Co. (signing with Darton), shot a 70 in the Pike Co. Challenge; Nate shot a 71.

Although Gahman is a returning player this year with a lot of experience, he is not the only one returning. Of the returning players Ebony and Ivory, who were both on the 2006 State Team and won 3rd place and are back to make up the girls team while Nate Gahman,  Devan Hall, Clint Eudy &  Ryan Edmondson bring a strong swing to the guys side of the team.

Trussell added concerning his seniors from last year “We definitely miss Abby Fitzgerald” who is now playing golf on scholarship at Kennesaw State.   

“Our young men’s team has a lot of potential and showing improvement with each tournament. At this time, we rank 3rd in our Region but feel that we can move into 1st place by region playoffs”

Bryan Glenn made a ‘Hole-n-One’ on the number 4 hole on Tuesday, March 20th during qualifying for the Warner Robins High tournament.
