Porter was put on the map this year with the rise of Sparta. The school was not all the things that I expected it to be but it was good enough to make this year good. Being a junior this year and knowing that we are going to be the first class to graduate from porter high school brings a big responsibility. We are the class that is going to put the name of  Porter High School up high and start the legacy.
Porter High School is a good school even with some of the money problems that we had being a new school. Having all these neat classes like criminal justice, cosmetology, Fashion design and all the other classes give us a head start in these careers. The only thing that was bad is the money problem and getting all the supplies. Hopefully next year we can get all the supplies necessary for our career fields. These career fields are giving us a big opportunity to see if we are really interested in that field and giving us a big idea in this career. Our cosmetology class has even opened a salon at school and we can get our license when the we graduate. We also have the opportunity to take dual credit classes. With this being our first year it was not so bad, but like in any other case there are things that can be better. If this year was good I expect next year to be better then this year.
