CAL’s previous lobby display, the Excellence in Education flag awarded to CAL in the 1986-87 school year, has been moved down the hall. A new display has been hung in its place, one with more meaning and community support behind it

The shelf display and photograph was a donation from David Boelman in honor of his wife Julie Boelman, who passed away last year after previously teaching at CAL for 15 years. 

This shelf will be both a monument for Boelman and an academic achievement display, for current students who should be recognized for their excellence in education.The Excellence in Education flag is still showcased, though it has been moved to the high school wing.
