America is all about entertainment, and fast and instant entertainment. Castle Crashers can provide all of that.
Castle Crashers was created by two men by the names of Dan Paladin and Tom Fulp. The fact that two men made this alone is impressive due to the complexity of the game. I purchased Castle Crashers right off the XBOX marketplace around a week ago, and I have been hooked ever since. Castle Crashers is a simplistic arcade game where you play as your choice of knights, and you have to save four princesses from the evil necromancer and evil wizard. Along the way you collect weapons, pets, fight stronger enemies, gain new magic powers, and just have fun. This game can be played by four people simultaneously, online or locally. It is available for both the XBOX 360, and PlayStation 3.
For the longest time, I had heard of this game and refused to play it due to its basic appearance. However, once I picked it up, it became very hard to put down. I even convinced a few friends to buy it, so we could play online together. This game costs 1200 Microsoft points, which is equivalent to $15. The average time spent playing this game varies. If I had to guess, I would say it is an 8 hour long game, not including replay value. I would recommend this game to anybody who isn’t a “video game master,” because it is simple, easy to learn, never frustrating, and a good source of entertainment. The only downside I see to this game is that it is a little bit vulgar on occasion. However, the vulgarity tends to come off as humorous, especially while playing with friends. Castle Crashers is a great game, and I highly advise anybody with a PlayStation or XBOX to give it a shot.
