On February 4 the indoor track team made history by hosting thier first home meet ever at The Arena.  
  
   "It was cool to finally not have to travel to a meet and finally just be able to compete on somewhat of a homefield," said senior Chad Wrinn.
  
   The meet was a success for the team as they finished fourth overall.  Grant Grigsby and Dakota Robertson finished seventh and ninth respectively in the shotput competition.
  
   Other events included the two-mile, dash, 400, and relays. The team had somebody place in each event.

   "I thought we did really well as a team, everyone gave thier best effort and as the year goes along we should see major improvement," said junior Preston Jones.

   The team doesn't have another home meet scheduled yet, head coach Erin White is in the process of scheduling another one.

   "I can't wait for the next home meet, it gives a chance for other students to come and watch us, which is hard when all of our meets were somewhere else like they have been in the past," said Wrinn.
