This rose is part of God's art and love and my friend's feelings for me. - Natalie Scott

Have you ever stopped to think how much art influences us in our daily lives? When you look at the city what do you see? How about the country? The quilt on your bed? Art is not just a class to paint or draw; it’s not just what some people choose to get out of band or choir. Art is a way to express yourself and illustrate a point for someone else.
Have you ever visited an art museum before? Did you look closely at every piece? Did you notice every swirl of a brush, every mark from a pencil, every move from a potter’s hands? Probably not. “Beauty is in the eye of the beholder,” is a quote that’s been around longer then the years after the Renaissance. Because everyone’s taste for something is different, no art piece is exactly alike, unless they copy it exactly with now-a-day’s technology.
From the streets to the big city’s malls, a nature hike to a love note, or a book cover to someone’s facial cover, art is always behind it. Your lipstick shade is just right to match your lips and go with your blue mascara and brown eyeliner: that’s art! The way a guy writes how much he loves you on a gorgeous piece of paper and then slips it into your backpack or locker: that’s art! The way the streets are laid out or how someone decorates the displays in a mall during Christmas time: that’s art! Wherever you go, art is always there waiting.
Think about Bill gates and the Apple Company. Your new I-Phone 5 or Mac laptop is filled with the electricity tingly with the sparkles of art. Without someone’s imagination, computer chips wouldn’t have been made, books wouldn’t be written, and the city’s glamorous skyscrapers wouldn’t be standing tall. Houses wouldn’t even stand up straight without some genius mind behind it. Think about the sole place where artists of all kinds get their inspiration from. Nature is bursting with the flow of art. From the leaves of a tree to the sparkle in the dust,God’s art influences our art completely.
Without art, people will be robots walking around with no aspect of personal opinion, only doing what they’re told, which could be a good thing if you’re a communist. Art lets people express themselves in a usually nonviolent way. Where as, if you were trying to express your depression to someone, but couldn’t find the right words, you picked up a gun. Art frees non-nerd people from those logical classes like geometry or physics. Art gives a new healthy perspective. Without it, what would we do?
