Creative Engineering
Arts and crafts going over the limit and going GREEN!
From marble roller coasters to soda bottle rockets, the creative engineering staff is soaring high with amazing inventions and sculptures, and that staff is taught by, no one other than the famous Mr. Conway! His funny, goofy and hyper personality keeps the class focused and excited, on working on they’re projects and just having fun. In the class, they’re latest project is little stick bridges. From what I have heard this project is pretty hard but fun! And all it takes is just a piece of wax paper and some thin sticks, and some glue of course!
Mr. Conway is an excellent science teacher; he is also a very creative person. In October, for Halloween, he dressed up as a clone from the amazing movie STAR WARS! He used old paint buckets and cut them to shape his body, for his helmet of mask, he used a skate board helmet and painted it white and then added some other stuff to it. He is also a very skilled and awesome painter or drawer. He has actually sold some of his art to people, and he has drawn several murals at schools and I think at some other places too! He is a very successful person.
Besides Mr. Conway, the whole staff of the Creative Engineering has been doing some other fun stuff to. Creative Engineering has many projects throughout the year. And they have always succeeded on their creative projects. Since Mr. Conway is so creative and artistic he has an art club and they meet at his classroom on Wednesdays I think, and only on Wednesdays after school and I think the art class is from 3:00-3:45pm, but just to be sure I would go to him and ask him what time and when. To be in the class you don’t have to have any experience or any artistic back round, you really don’t have to have any skills at all, all you do is just have fun with drawing in the class, and I think he teaches some skills to.
I interviewed some people from the Creative Engineering class, and they said “This is the best class and enrichment class anyone could ever have, it’s so fun, and who doesn’t like Mr. Conway. He’s the greatest teacher ever!”
They also said, “we are working on a new project and we hope every one likes them!”
