Ms. Taylor
Ms. Taylor grew up in San Jose until she was 7 years old and then moved here to Granite Bay. Throughout her school days she pretty much got good grades. She attended Oakmont High School. “GO VIKINGS!” Her favorite subject was math, and she attended Sierra College for two years, then Cal Poly, and then San Luis Obispo on a basketball scholarship.
I asked Ms. Taylor if she liked OHJS and why. And her response was “yes, I love Olympus because I am surrounded by fabulous students who bring joy to everyday of my life and I work with the most supportive people you could ever imagine.”
This is Ms. Taylor’s 13th year teaching. She hasn’t been a teacher anywhere else. She has been a Spartan her whole time being a teacher.
Ms. Taylor loves being a P.E. teacher because she likes introducing students to new sports and activities. Her favorite part about being a teacher is getting to work with kids.
A summer job as a S.T.A.R. sports director is what made Ms. Taylor want to be a P.E. teacher. If she could teach any other subject it would either be math or science. She hasn’t always wanted to be a teacher, but she is really happy with choosing to become a teacher. As her job.
Some of Ms. Taylor’s hobbies include gardening, working out, playing with her niece and nephew and dog. She also enjoys spending time at her family cabin, spending time with friends, and home improvement projects. I also asked her what she liked to do in her spare time and she said “all of my hobbies!”
