December 9th, Friday after noon rings in the heads of all Heritage High School wrestlers. For those who don’t know this was the official date of the Christmas Tournament. Sixteen schools were in attendance for the tournament. The tournament took place at Denbigh High School, on that faithful night seven Heritage High School wrestlers took home a medal. The metals were given away first place through fourth place throughout each weight class. Wrestlers of all weight classes wrestled among each other from the small and quick 106 weight class to the strong and lethal 285 weight class. The tournament lasted two days total, Friday through Saturday.

The tournament has four different school mats that are carefully set beside one another in order to form a bigger circle. This in hand gives the ability to carry out four matches at a time, creating less time and faster results for the tournament time. It began on Friday at 2:00pm - 11:00pm and continued on Saturday at 9:00am – 6:00pm. The tournament lasted 18 hours all together.
