Twelve Oaks Mall, located in Novi, Michigan, is quickly expanding, adding new stores all the time but this weekend, their newest store, Love Culture, will be opening after its long-awaited arrival.
According to loveculture.com, Jai Rhee and Bennet Koo founded Love Culture in 2007. The founders believe that Love Culture is guided by a single vision that real women, independent, fully empowered and confident, to drive innovation in fashion. There are 33 stores in 14 states offering a large selection of affordable fashions that allow women to express their sense of fun style and creativity.
Students at both South Lyon and South Lyon East High School are employed at the new location in Twelve Oaks. South Lyon senior, Alyssa Sullivan, is one of those employees. “I’m really excited to work there. The clothes are really cute and the atmosphere just seems really good. I think it’s going to be a really fun experience!” Sullivan said. Alyssa Zaharia, another South Lyon senior, is also an employee. “I can’t wait for people to see the store! We put so much effort into the way it looks and trying to make it perfect, I just can’t wait for opening day!” Zaharia said.
“When Girls Take Over” is the motto for Love Culture. They believe that it captures their fascination with the essence of their customers. They work incredibly hard to find a fun, savvy, dynamic atmosphere that is always on top of the latest fashions and trends. Love Culture plans on growing; expecting 25 more locations to open by the end of 2011 and 100 new stores are set to open within the next three years.
