Technology has become so advanced that we can see inside an expectant mother’s stomach and see a 3-D image of her baby, and talk in our phone to perform many unbelievable tasks. Back in the day cell, phones where only for emergencies, then they started to be produced more and became more popular. Texting came out in the early 1990s, and was very expensive; now texting is extremely cheap to get all of the unlimited texting you want! The first cell phone that came to existence was in 1946 and was carried in a brief case. Since then the phones have changed dramatically, they went from a briefcase to a large square phone, to smaller square phones, to flip- phones, to phones with keyboards now to a revolution of the iPhone.
The first iPhone came out in 2007 and has since became an outrage. In 2007 the phone was advanced for the year in technology but still was simply basic. The New iPhone 4s is completely advanced for the technology for a phone. The abilities the phone can do are remarkable and amazing. There is an option to ask your phone any question and a voice will come on and answer your question. The camera on the new iPhone is unbelievably excellent and has perfect precision, also when either taking a picture or video the iPhone will automatically send it home to your computer. The advancement of how fast and efficient the internet on the hand-held portable device has become unbelievable in the sense of speed and connection.
Many new owners of the iPhone are extremely happy with the phone and suggest everyone get one. But are iPhones really that “cool”? There are many different apps on the phone that can automatically track where you are at, at that exact moment. Another app that is available is away to send hundreds of the same text message to one person. How annoying is that? Having to wait for your phone to load after receiving hundreds of text messages.
Children in the generation has become well in advanced in technology as well as everyone else. A 3- year old was playing with an iPhone in public and had many comments related to that. Should a three year old really be playing with an iPhone? Whatever happened to books? Many different studies have shown and studied that many children would rather stay inside and play with a iPhone, iPad, computer or gaming station then go play outside on a nice sunny day. A child not going outside and playing makes a deficiency in Vitamin D and increases obesity in children. iPhones are unbelievable and advanced, but are they really that cool?
