As you begin rummaging around your closet, tossing aside your winter gear and tucking away the UGG boots, hoodies and colorful scarves, get ready for the new styles that are springing your way.

This season there are new and great styles for your hair. A definite must-have for the evening is the ponytail. Other popular hairstyles are layers and long bangs. But don’t worry, if those styles don’t fit you, there is always the bun. Key components of whichever style you choose are headbands and head-scarves. These accessories come in a variety of colors that you can mix and match with your outfits.

And with the weather warming up, skirts are becoming a hot commodity. Sequined peasant skirts, which can be found in many stores such as H&M and GAP, have already made their debut in our halls. Showing some skin is also in this season with mini denim and cargo skirts emerging on the spring hit list--but remember, no indecent exposure and don’t wear them too short! Mini-denim skirts come in various styles such as ripped, bleached and faded. These skirts can be found in stores like Abercrombie and Fitch and Hollister Company.

Get the attention you deserve and strut around in cropped pants. But if that just doesn’t work for you, try on some Bermuda shorts that you can mix and match styles, because whether they are stripped or plaid they look fantastic with a colorful blazer or cropped jacket. Of course, it is time to accessorize that outfit with multi-strand beaded and abacus necklaces, and pair it with some dangling, chandelier or hoop earrings.

You can never go wrong with a belt, which can be found in any department store, because whether it is big, shiny, sequined or has a western feel to it, you can mix and match it according to your outfit. Be sure to try some bangles, beaded, wooden or just a simple charm bracelet to flatter the outfit. Finish it off with big, black sunglasses.

Alright, so the outfit is not complete without the right pair of shoes. Even though most girls have a hard time finding the right shoes for that picture perfect outfit, you can never go wrong with flip-flops. If you want to be dressier at night, then you should get an ankle tie heel or espadrilles. They are versatile, suitable for the weather and not to mention they come in every color imaginable! You can find these shoes at any department store.

Now with all these tips in mind, what are you waiting for? Go shop till you drop!
