“The atmosphere was calm but exciting, and everyone got along,” junior Nikkie Dorsey said.
With the tables draped with red table clothes, and the chandeliers shinning brightly on the girls’ dresses, the night surely fit its theme.
“It was a great time, and I had a blast,” sophomore Emma Prince said, evoking great excitement talking about the formal affair
“Everyone was so gorgeous, everyone just looked their best,” Dorsey said.
Yellow and White were the colors of choice, springy colors to fit the season.
Ice cream sundaes and dance music also gave the room a spring feeling. The whole night was upbeat with fun in the air.
“It was so much fun, because I got to hang out and dance with the people I love,” junior Melanie Cassel, said.
Prom king and queen were Phillip Carter and Alicia Yungandreas, who were crowned at the end of the night, along with the only two slow songs played during the night.
“I didn’t think there was enough variety in the music,” senior, Kyle Munley said.
Even though the music choice was a bit sour, “the food was a lot better than it was last year, and the favors were awesome,” Munley added.
The favors this year were photo albums, a good way to commemorate the occasion, in comparison to the wine glasses given out last year.
“I don’t go to many dances, but this one was just awesome!” senior Andrew Schurholz said.
“Prom was almost the last step in our chapter, and now its on to graduation, the final step!” senior Kyle McPhee, said.
