Are you looking for some fun things to do in Duluth but are strapped for cash at the moment?   Well, there are plenty of fun and free attractions waiting for you around the town.  Duluth is a very majestic city during all four seasons, but especially during the fall months.

Taking a day picnic at Enger Tower Park is one of my favorite things to do in the fall.  All of the beautiful fall colors, the changing leaves that make the trees look like they are on fire, take your breath away.  Climb up to the tip top of the sixty-two foot tower and you will be rewarded with a brilliant panoramic view of the Duluth harbor.  “You can get the best view of Duluth from that tower,” said Patrick Held

You are also in store for an exciting day if you check out Brighton Beach, also known as Kitchi Gammi Park.  Just watching the rolling waves crash against the jagged rocks puts me in complete tranquility.  “You could spend hours on end just paddling up and down our shores in a canoe or kayak,” said Kim Fellbom.

Another great site is Lester Park.  There are many miles of well-groomed trails weaving in and around the tree-infested park.  Keep your eyes open for various wildlife from bears to birds.

So you don’t need money to have a fun-filled day in our great city of the north.  There is a free attraction for everyone in Duluth, so get out there and experience them.
