The junior varsity volleyball girls concluded their season on October 27 with a home game against Hale to make their final record (10W,3L). The captains, Taylor Crawford and Eden Hunt, led their team each match, shooting for a victory, keeping everyone fired up, and playing great. Coach Katie Lee was proud of her team and the great volleyball season they had. She said,"What made my team and their season so successful, was working together and always wanting to improve their volleyball skills." For the whole team, including coach, the most exciting part of the season was the big victory over Mio at their own house. The Lady Tigers fell to the Thunderbolts the first time they played them in Hillman, but that only made the Tigers work harder at practice and other games, setting their goal of beating Mio the second time around. Great job, girls, on a "spook"tacular season! Also, good luck to the varsity volleyball team as they travel to Hale for their district play!
