We all know that we need new computers. Many of us have made it known, thinking that it would make a difference. Most of the computers in the high school computer lab, as well as the library, choose when they want to work in order for us to use them. Many are outdated. This year there are some newer computers in the lab. A lot of us would agree the rest should be updated. I have heard talk about the fact that it would be nice for all of us to have iPads to use during school hours. Well, at the first meeting of 2012, the Hillman Community Schools Board of Education discussed the lacking technology. As a result, there is a chance that all students will be getting personal iPads to use during school hours. In addition, access to the internet will be easier and faster because our world is turning into a tech world. We need to turn right along with it in order to excel. We will also be to use our own phones and iPods more for classes so that we can have more interactive projects. Free music sites will be back, too. Finally, if a purchase of additional computers is approved, the library will be transformed into an updated computer lab.
