Fall 2011 Brings on the Heat From the Rackets. - Advertising Monday, October 10, 2011 By Nicole Kang With the guidance of a new coach and the on-going spirit among the teammates, Kennedy High School’s Girls Tennis team radiates their improvement and character on the tennis courts. Coached by Mr. Hoang, Algebra 2 teacher at Kennedy, they continue to strive for victory in each match played. The newly appointed captains of the 2011 tennis season are seniors Megan Hsiao and Devan Johnson, who are the 1st doubles in our tennis team. Although the top singles and doubles change in each match to strategize, senior Helen Haan follows up as 1st single, having been in Varsity Tennis for three years of her high school career. Despite their wins and losses, the lady Irish tennis team maintains their vision of victory into CIF.
