Amanda Knox overwhelmed by freedom - Google

Amanda Knox was once a college student attending Washington University. During the summer of her sophomore year, she went to Italy for student exchange and had a British roommate. But it all turned out bad from a well-planned summer program to the horror of Amanda Knox, her family and her roommate's family.
Amanda Knox was accused of the assault and murder of her British roommate, Meredith Kercher. She was the only suspect and was sent to an Italian prison immediately without any evidence that she was responsible. She had been in prison for 4 years, going through many trails and even became fluent in Italian during this time. Life in Italian prison was tough for Amanda Knox and her family because she or her family did not know any Italian, therefore she did not understood how the case was going or what was going to happen to her.
Her life in Italian prison was also tough because her family members were only allowed to visit her for 1 minute each day, so she did not really have much support from outside the prison cell. All she did inside the prison cell was sleep, eat, shower, brush her teeth, and read books. But finally after 4 years, judgment day finally came for Amanda Knox. She was either going to be released, be sent to prison for 26 years, or for life.
The day before her trial day, she had to say her personal statement in Italian. She explained why she should be released and why she was innocent. At last, on judgment day the judge released Amanda Knox from the Italian prison after they have no evidence that it was Amanda Knox who murdered her British roommate. The next day Amanda Knox flew back to Seattle, Washington, her hometown to be with her family once again. Even though Amanda Knox had been released from prison, there still comes a price with her and her family paying off the debts for the lawyers that represented her for 4 years.
