As if you don't already know, this year's Football homecoming is right around the corner. No, really, it is' the first day is this coming Monday. And the whole of next week will be spent dressing up in various costumes that go along with our theme: The Nightmare on 13th Street.

But, there is more to homecoming than these appeals. Homecoming was originally an opportunity for alumni to come back to the town that they originated from and the week was in celebration for them; there is the prospect of being "small town royalty" when one is nominated to be Homecoming Queen, or Football King, or any of the other school organizations that have royalty.

this year's homecoming royalty nominees have been announced and are as follows: Colton Cheap and Peyton Yeoman, Bryce Hyatt and Kaitlin Pritchett, and Hunter Enders and Joy Haffey.
