Ms. Ryan is MATHS’ new art and technology teacher.  She grew up in Western Maryland and went to a small Catholic high school with a graduating class of 46 students.

She received her bachelor’s and Master of Fine Arts degrees in Philadelphia, then taught art in Philadelphia and New York.  She also taught at middle school and university levels before being hired to teach at MATHS.

Ms. Ryan has enjoyed her experience here at MATHS so far.  She said that it has been a good challenge to teach both art and technology.

Ms. Ryan’s favorite artist is Jenny Holzer because her work is very bold and interesting.

We are happy to welcome Ms. Ryan to MATHS and hope that her school year continues to go well.
