“We kicked off the 2012 season in auspicious fashion, placing in 7 of 8 events and beating every other private school that rowed in the same heat,” said BSCHS crew coach Joe Bousquet.
The crew team started their season successfully as the varsity team brought home three third place ribbons, three second place ribbons and one first place ribbon. The first crew to come in first place this season was the Women's Varsity Second including Airielle Prevette, Cara Monaccio, Meredith Fierro and Taylor Shubert with Hana Mack as their coxswain.
The crew team competed in their second regatta on Saturday, March 31, entering four additional events for the novice rowers. The results included four crews coming in third, three crews coming in second and four crews coming in first.
