TRACK & FIELD: With county championships next week and districts and states fast approaching, the team is hoping to clock in its fastest times yet.

Senior John Foster said the team is balanced and that “we have a lot more people so we can win more meets.”

Foster also said the 4x400 and 4x800 boys relay teams should qualify for the state meet. “We have a lot of potential; we can run really fast but none of us have run our best times yet,” Foster said.

SOFTBALL: Pitcher Keyana Terry said the team has been playing very well the last few games. “The errors have cut down a lot, we keep getting better and we’re putting the ball in play,” said Terry.

Jennifer Bruce said the upcoming game against Sickles should be interesting and that past play could carry the team.

CREW: Seniors Emily Collins and Ariana Spano have credited this year as being difficult. States, which are April 28 and 29, will encompass all club and school teams.

Collins said “We’re confident in our boat; we still have work to do.”

Nevertheless, Spano was confident, “we’re pushing hard.”
