Nicki Minaj’s Grammy performance was certainly unforgettable. Fans watching the Grammys talked about it on twitter. The song she performed, “Roman Holiday”, was so talked about that it drew a mixed response from critics. The exorcism-themed song was criticized for being exorcism-related. The critics went as far as to say “Is Nicki Minaj possessed?”

She appeared on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show Monday morning to release her new single “Starships” and to talk about her performance. She addressed her critics by stating, “My fan base, they understand every single thing because Roman was created two years ago. I’ve been writing the story for a long time and yesterday was his coming-out party. It just was very literal and streamlined if you know who Roman is and if you don’t know the Roman character, you have to digest it.”  The ‘Roman’ character she speaks about is her alter-ego.

Many websites have reported that her song, “Roman Holiday”, is on iTunes, but many people are saying that they can’t find the song on iTunes. As of this writing the song is not on iTunes.
