Students look on as Madagascar plays on the screen -
Advertising
It was a cold and windy night on October 6, 2006 when Fraser high school decided to have its annual night at the movies.

The success of the last two years allowed this to be the third consecutive movie night in FHS history. There were a few things different about this year from the years past, mainly where it was located. Normally it was held on the football field but this year it took place on the baseball diamond. The decision was made in order to preserve the new stadium’s turf and caused mixed emotions from movie night goers.

“I kind of like the baseball field because everyone has a direct view of the screen,” said freshman April DiGiovanni. However not everyone held this opinion.

“Yes sir, the football field was better,” said Sophomore Ryan Rutherford.

Although the movie was in a different location people still came to see it and everyone had their own opinion on if this year’s movie was better than years past.

“ I don’t think that Madagascar was even close to Finding Nemo or Ice Age. They were definetely the top two,” said senior Mike Grillo.

Despite the cold and new location this year was yet another a success, so expect to spend another evening under the stars watching a flick with your friends next year.
