Zombies, witches and goblins, OH MY! For years Halloween has been full of witches, goblins, zombies, oh and let’s not forget, trick-or-treating! This years Halloween is full of autumn attractions like apple orchards, cider mills, haunted houses and those scary haunted hay rides.

Or if you’re looking for a really spooktacular time and you’re ready to put a few miles on your car, there’s “Halloweekends” at Cedar Point. Every year around Halloween Cedar Point packs the amusement park with all sorts of spine-chilling creatures, but don’t worry the creatures won’t take over the park until after dark. The park features several haunted houses and even a walk through a wooded area full of werewolves, and this year there’s even new haunted attractions!

But if you can’t make the date, or break the bank, there are plenty of haunted attractions near by, including Blake’s Apple Orchard. Blake’s is the place for family fun with a haunted twist. The orchard is full of attractions like a petting farm, corn maze, and everyone’s favorite, lots of cider, fresh dipped caramel apples, and delicious doughnuts. Best of all, Blake’s has all of this, plus the two haunted attractions, the hay ride, and the haunted house, for just 20 dollars you can do both!

If you think the environment at Blake’s is too family friendly and not frightening enough, you could check out Slaughtered at Sundown. Slaughtered at Sundown is located about 30 minutes away from Fraser. Tickets for the haunted house are 12 dollars and the tickets for the haunted hayride are12 also. If you’re looking to do both, you can get the package deal of 20 dollars for the haunted house and the haunted hayride. Also, instead of waiting in the lackluster lines you can order your tickets online and skip the routine wait.

With adventurous Halloween attractions like these, it’s a wonder that high school students are still sticking to their costumes and pillow cases for trick-or-treating, but they are. One thing is for sure, whether you’re knocking on doors begging for candy, or being scared by monsters, this years Halloween is sure to be fulfilled.
