Do vitamins + water = all you need? Vitamin Water seems to be the new craze here at Fraser. Everywhere you turn, its hard not to find one of these colored concoctions.

The drinks are hitting it off with just about everyone with all the nutrients and all the flavors. These drinks don’t only taste good, but are actually quite good for you. No matter what type of vitamins or nutrients you and your body needs, there’s a vitamin water for you!

“I drink around one or two a day just depends on how much money I have on me. I haven’t tried all the flavors, but my favorite so far has to be the dragon fruit,” said sophomore Devon Miller.

It’s obvious most students love the drinks and the variety of flavors, but what does the school store think? It wouldn’t be too surprising to hear the school store has made an increased amount of sales since they started selling this flavored phenomenon. Mr. Dave Moutrie seems pleased that the store is broadening the healthier beverage options.

“I personally, am not too fond of the drinks,” Moutrie said “but I would rather sell these healthy drinks in comparison to the sugar-filled drinks like Coke.”

Moutrie and the school store gang have high hopes to increase sales of the hale and hearty drink while decreasing the sales of the not so nutritious soda beverages.

Some students seem to have the same sentiments towards the drink.

“I personally am not the biggest fan of vitamin water,” said Reno Martoni “It has just about the same amount of sugar as a pop would, or so I have observed. I am a Fanta-man myself.”

So whatever your stand on vitamin water might be, it’s easily agreed to be all the rage, at least until the next trendy item hits this high school.
