Has your friend’s ex- boyfriend ever tried to get with you? You’re tempted but not sure if you should go along with it. Yea, do not even try it unless you’re ready to lose that friend. Friendships are based off of trust, and that’s violating the bonds of “friendship.” Believe it or not, it’s been proven that a girl can catch feelings for a guy she has only been with for a while girls are more in tune with their feelings.         

     So imagine dating your friend’s ex- boyfriend.   She probably still has feelings for him no matter how much she denies or doesn’t show it. “I would never want any of my friends dating my ex, that’s kind of gross and disrespectful,” stated a student at ACHS.  What if it was you and your friend was trying to date your ex? You’d probly be mad and a little hurt because they didn’t even think about how’d you feel. So why even try? Plus you’ll look so bad in people’s eyes; most likely you’ll be called names. Overall drama will arise.

       But obviously my opinion doesn’t matter because of their feelings. If you end up dating your friend’s ex-boyfriend, you need to tell your friend. Ask about her feelings towards the boy, if you care about how she feels then you’ll answer your own question. ”I hated that I trusted my friend and she went behind my back and dated my ex- boyfriend..,” said another student.  Don’t go behind their backs, because it will come back to you. Just be straight up, and if she decides you shouldn’t date him then it’s your decision to if it’s worth losing your friend.

     I’m just telling you what I would do in this situation. Don’t handle it poorly or it’ll all come down on you. Drama isn’t fun and it’s the last thing you want. “I got a lot of drama because I dated my best friend’s ex- boyfriend. Everyone called me names and I hated it,” said another student.  Just remember, if they’ll date you after dating your friend, they will definitely date your friends after you.
