The middle school girls’ basketball team is done with their season. They ended with a record of 2-9. The girls did make the playoffs but sadly lost to Philadelphia Academy Charter School (PACS). This is a big accomplishment because many teams do not make finals. The coach, Ms. Flanagan, said they need to work on dribbling, getting the ball, and rebounding. Eighth grade player Jillian Ashton said she needs to work on her shots. Jessica Flanigan, also an eighth grader, said she needs to work on her layups. One major goal the girls have over the summer is grow.
