Billy was born in Fairfax and he is single. He enjoys composing and performing music, playing frisbee, golf, and soccer in his free time. Billy’s favorite place in the whole wide world is The Chelsea Royal Diner in Vermont because they have really good crab cake benedict. Billy was a student at the New School before he went to college. After Billy’s college years were over he decided he wanted to go back to the New School to teach because he liked the environment and wanted to work with friends. Billy’s teaching experience at the New School so far has been “salubrious” (Billy’s exact words).

Charlie Schneeweis, Billy’s old electronics teacher in college inspired him to pursue his teaching career. Billy’s favorite subject in school was physics. A good memory of being in high school for him was his senior exhibition. Billy changed a lot during high school. He went from being quiet and introspective to being what he is today, outgoing and confident. Billy would like to have some more interdisciplinary classes. His advice for teenagers who want to be teachers is to pay attention to how teachers teach.
