Mac is the better of the two, for a multitude of reasons. The Mac, unlike the PC, is easy to use and install, and comes with everything already in the box. A PC has to have its parts ordered separately, and is often difficult to install, ending in frustration for the user.

Macs are also much more secure than PCs, owing to the lack of viruses made for a Mac.

While PCs can run computer games and such, Macs can run video editing software, iTunes, music players and various other programs right out of the box, something a person with a PC cannot do, so users must download or buy the software. The basic programs PCs come with aren’t that well designed, while Macs come with the latest and greatest programs.

Since many people are not video gamers, a Mac would be the best choice for them, as it is not capable of running computer games, due to its unfortunate low system specs. Macs also look a lot better visually, with curved angles and a beautiful white finish, along with accented buttons and an easy to use interface.

Macs come in many varieties, ranging from the desktop iMac to the portable laptop called iBook. Since the Mac is made by Apple, who also makes the iPod, the Mac is designed to be 100% compatible with every iPod model, with iTunes already installed upon first use. Along with iTunes, the Mac also comes with iLife, a software bundle that includes video editing, internet browsing, photo viewing and music mixing programs. The PC’s most exciting function? Its calculator.
