Artist Mary J. Blige has sold over 50 million albums and 15 million singles worldwide.
Mary has a new album "My Life II: The Journey Continues," and she goes toe to toe with Drake a famous Hip Hop and R&B Artist in their new hit Mr.Wrong, which is number 1 on the music list. “A lot of women are misunderstood and a lot of men think they know what to do. But they don’t,” says Blige. “This overall topic is very important right now.” The message she wanted to get out was that because of the nature of love, you're just as likely to fall for Mr. Wrong as Mr. Right.
The songs stand out to me because Mary J. Blige tries to compare her situations that she has gone through to the real life experience of everyone else. Everybody goes through love phases and a trying too get through life struggles. I've been listening to Mary J Blige every since I was much younger, because a lot of her song's hit me. For example, in "Heart to Heart", I love her voice and some of her beats and her music lyrics are nice. I don't have too many favorites, but I do have 2 or 3 songs that I listen to just about everyday such as "Mr.Wrong" featuring Drake. Another one of her new hits I also love features Beyonce. I feel that those are really nice songs, not too inappropriate and I hear them on the radio all the time.
Mary J Blige is a famous Hip Hop and R&B Artist born January 11, 1971 in the Bronx, New York. Blige began moving people with her soulful voice at the age of 18 and now is 41 years of age, She is a recipient of nine Grammy Awards, and four American Music Awards and had recorded eight multiple platinum albums. She is the ONLY artist with Grammy wins in Pop, Rap, Gospel and R&B. She was nominated as the Queen of Hip Hop and Soul.
