The Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) took a trip to the Maybee Center in Tulsa for a concert on March 9. The concert was the Winter Jam World Spectacular, which is a Christian Rock Concert.
The students left the school at 1:00 p.m. to go eat at Zio's in Tulsa. Next, they went to the Maybe Center for the concert that started at 6:30 p.m.
Sponsor, Kelley Greene said, “FCA takes a trip every spring with the money we get from the fundraisers. This year was FCA pizza kits.” When asked how she felt about this year's FCA group she said, “I am very proud of my FCA kids for their dependability, faithfulness, and desire to show how God works in their lives. Also that everyone is very excited about the trip.”
When Amanda Lancaster was asked how she felt about the trip she said, “I like getting out of school and it was a good concert.” Senior Stephi Harless expressed her excitement for the trip by saying, “It was the first concert I have ever been to so I was really excited about that.”
Some of the bands and performers were: Steven Curtis Chapman, Jeremy Camp, Hawk Nelson, Sanctus Real, Britt Nicole, John Morgan, Tony Nolan, and Andre.
