The 18 year old used a Middletown High School purchasing number to place orders for thousands of lollipops and candybars, police are still unsure of how he accessed the number. The candy company, "The Goodies Factory" became suspicious and contacted the school. Detectives told the candy company to deliver an empty box.

The boy had the delivery shipped to his house and was arrested immediately after the fake delivery. The teen faces two counts of felony telecommunications fraud. He is being held in Middletown City Jail for more than $30,000 bail bond.
