The colors are pink, yellow, green, gray, navy blue, and white for tops; blue or khaki for bottoms. With rules such as keeping your shirttails tucked in, wearing skirts or shorts that fall below your fingertips, etc…., it seems as if it would be impossible to stand out in the hallways full of your peers. Where is the room to show your personal style or keen fashion sense? Well some students have found ways to shine like a diamond in a standard colored rough.

Walk down the hallway and you will see a variation of color-coordinated accessories, or for the more brave personality, vibrant and attention grabbing accessories. Instead of the standard polo’s, some students have dabbled in wearing tailored button-ups, often seen with belts attached, or a sash that ties to a bow in the back. Girls have been changing things up, and wearing dresses of standard color over polo's. The boys cannot be forgotten. They have gone to lengths such as finding polo's made by their favorite brand, or wearing their favorite shoes, so their personality is not lost in all that khaki.

The biggest conflict students had with the uniform policy was the feeling that they would lose their personal style, and not be able to express themselves through what they wore. Although it seems a bit difficult, there are plenty of ways to make that standard outfit your own.
