2008-09 GROWLER STAFF MEMBERS
Welcome to The Growler Online, Marianna High’s online school newspaper. We have five returning staff members this year: Kendall Burns, Stuart Gamble, Scott Hagan, Jordi Love, and Zachary White. New members for the 2008-2009 school year are: Leighton Bentley, Glenn Guinand, Rebecca Herb, Cole Hewett, Paul Hoff, Lindsey Jackson, Racquelle Johnson, Tiffany Lawrence, Zachary Peifer, Amber Perry, Cheyne Roberts, Andrew Sherman, Ashley Wilson, and Trevor York.

With the realization that most clubs and sports at MHS have their own web pages on the school website, we are brainstorming new directions for this year’s editions. While we will continue to have MHS news and some of the regular features like editorials, lunch table polls, entertainment reviews, feature teacher, and “Dog Gone—Where Are They Now?”, our plan is to publish more writings by staff members and MHS students, such as original short stories and poetry.

We will continue to feature class projects from both academic and academy classes, as well as cover major events including homecoming, junior revue, prom and graduation. In addition, we have added some new features: Top Dogs, Dawg Gripes, and Fashion Police.

STAY TUNED...articles will be posted as they are completed by staff members. First up will be

"Bye, Bye, Bye...Pomp, Cicumstance and Graduation Pictures from the Class of 2008."

If your club or sport does not have a web page, and/or if you have newsworthy items for publication in The Growler Online, please contact us in Room A-103.
