At-a-glance

These FFA members are having a blast on the beach! -
As we all know FFA is one of the busiest clubs at Southern Door High School. They have just finished wreath making recently, but they will not have much down time to rest as they begin planning for future competitions and trips.

The FFA speaking contest is approaching quickly, and practice for the speaking contest will be starting soon. Proficiencies are also starting up for the fun filled FFA group.

Even though FFA is constantly busy with activities, contests, and trip planning, they will be able to enjoy a little break from all of their work on December 27th. This is when FFA members will have their Christmas Party at Apple Valley Lanes. It should be a fun night to enjoy bowling, and the company of other club members. After their sure-to-be-fun Christmas Party they will begin preparations for their Small Animal SAE visit, which is planned for January 11th.

The planning for the annual FFA ski trip is currently underway. The trip is planned for February and is guaranteed to be a great time, like always! Also, the FFA members are beginning to plan activities for FFA week in February. Some possible activities for FFA week include a dodge ball tournament, and a possible T-shirt day.

The first practice for Parlimentary Procedure was on Tuesday, December 19th in Mrs. Follen’s room. Participants have already signed up and have submitted motions for their first practice. If you’re interested in finding out more information about any of these FFA dates, practices, or trips, talk to Mrs. Follen or any FFA member.

FFA is just as busy as always, and it looks like they are planning
