Many students may think that the amount of homework given to them is too much and that it would have decreased upon entering high school, because there are only four classes a day. As a matter of fact, the students are still given a lot of homework in spite of only having four classes.
The teachers here have to fit two days into one block, so students may have two days of homework in one night. The teachers try to make it easier, but it can still be tough for students. Teachers are doing the best they can to help; they just can’t let the students go without any homework.
Students may think that it is unfair that they have so much homework. However, the classes that students choose to take can influence their workload as well. If a student takes a general English class compared to English honors, they may have less homework. It also depends on the teacher they have. Every teacher is different and have different teaching methods.
Students should realize that teachers are not just being mean. The amount of homework a student has depends on many factors. It is important to remember everyone has four new classes next semester, and they might not have as much homework in comparison.
