Lompoc High sophomore, Tianna Cisowski is kicking the ball. -
The Lompoc Lady Braves came away with a 1-1 tie against a strong Nipomo team on Tuesday December 5th. Coming off a perfect 3-0 record the girls knew that they were facing a challenge. Last year when meeting the Titans they beat them once in overtime and then lost their second time playing them.

The ladies played a strong first half, connecting passes well with each other and dominating the game. It was a shock when in the second half the Titans received a break and scored off of a corner kick. The Braves were now chasing a 0-1 deficit, and well into the second half.

They continued to put pressure, and finally Ariel Francis found Jani Carmona, who powered it into the top left corner. However, that would be all the scoring for the day as the game ended in a 1-1 tie.

The defense also played well, with Carolina Hernandez, Tianna Cisowski, and Rosangela Perez having a great game. Overall the Lompoc girls soccer team had a good performance, and continue to improve with each game.
