On Wednesday, March 12, 2008, Psychology students invited their fellow classmates and teachers to the annual Psychology fair. The purpose of the fair is for students to gather data from their guests by interacting and encouraging them to participate in their experiments. The students attending the fair were introduced to a variety of topics such as conformity, stereotyping, obedience, selective attention, optical illusions, etc. Junior Prisca Anyiam states, “It’s a great way to bring students together to learn about the principles of psychology while doing fun activities and seeing how it relates to our everyday lives. It also gave new-coming students more insight on what students taking psychology do and I was very happy to be a part of it.”
