M: If you could go back and change anything about your high school career athletically, what would it be?
Kayla: I would have listened to my dad early on in my high school career so that I would be a better softball player from the beginning. .
M: How has being involved in sports throughout high school impacted your time at PB?
Kayla: Being involved in sports has helped me meet more people who have become great friends.
M: Best sports memory?
Kayla: Getting a yellow card in the Damascus FH game for accidentally bulldozing another player and fitting 200 sunflower seeds in my mouth in a softball game.
M: Do you envision yourself coaching in the future?
Kayla: I know I will coach my kids’ teams, but I don’t think I will coach for something like high school or college.
M: Do you plan to continue playing a sport in college or to coach in the future? If so, what and at what level?
Kayla: I think I will play club sports in college, probably both softball and field hockey.
