Jackson over the past decade has been through trials and tribulations that have hurt his Pop icon image. These trials and tribulations include things such as marriage mishaps, accusations of child molestation and the loss of Neverland Ranch.

Despite these issues Jackson did have his successes. His triumphs include his success as a member of The Jackson 5 and as a singer, songwriter, record producer, arranger, dancer, choreographer, actor, author, businessman and financier.

Jackson has produced some of the world’s most and best selling albums, some of which include Off the Wall, Thriller, Bad, Dangerous and HIStory. These albums contain the songs that have lingered in the minds of many for years and still have continuous radio play.

Jackson, recently, had been reported to have become sick and was believed to be on his death bed. Some believe this was a promotional hoax while others believe it was the truth. Nevertheless Jackson turned out to be healthy.

In fact he poses to return to performing one last time. From July 2009 until February 2010, Jackson is scheduled to perform 50 sell out concerts to over one million people at London’s O

2 arena.

Some fans are skeptical of Michael Jackson’s comeback.

Senior Zane Adoum says, "I don’t think he has the appeal of today’s pop culture to make a successful comeback. Even Michael Jordan couldn’t come back and be dominant." While other life long Michael Jackson fans say differently.

Some are not worried about his music; some are worried about his off-the-stage demeanor. Jackson is known for hanging babies off railings and participating in other atypical public activities.

No matter which side of the fence the topic is approached from it is fair to say that Michael Jackson has forever changed the music industry by creating the first music video ever, revolutionizing the art of stage performance, being inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice, winning 13 Grammy awards, making 13 number one singles, and selling over 750 million units worldwide.
