Learning from their housemates Danity Kane that the group must stick together, Day 26 tried their hardest to make it work, but in some cases almost fell to disaster.

Struggling to come out, this album took longer then expected to be released. Because of many problems with "Q," the band that America grew to love was thought to be broken up and never to return like the rest of the other "Making the Band" groups. Having different views on the types of music that should be made, the group went on a roller coaster ride that they thought would never stop. But by the end of the season everyone put their differences aside and came together as brothers to make music that their audience would love.

Despite its obstacles, the album, "Forever in a Day," eventually debuted April 14.

Slightly leaving their rhythm and blues sound behind, the band leans toward the pop side expanding their listeners and making their audience bigger then before to produce more album sales.

With producers such as Timbaland, Jermaine Dupri, Brian-Michael Cox, Diddy and Mario Winans, the album showcased the progression of a group working on creating a distinctive and new sound. Day 26’s sophomore album "Forever In A Day" is something where the time and hard work put into it is evident. The songs vary from smooth slow jams to hot club bangers; "Just Getting Started" is a smooth mid tempo track with a nice chill vibe to it. It is a genius starting point and lays a firm foundation for what’s to be expected in a great album.

Then come tracks such as "Imma Put It On Her," "Your Heels" and "Stadium Music," which are all songs that people cannot help but tap their feet to. This album goes from cool to smooth to sexy. This album was made for people to feel good and that is definitely the vibe that comes off to the audience when listening to "Forever In A Day."

Songs such as "Baby Maker," "Bipolar," "Think of Me" and "Then There’s You" all were made for the ladies. The track "Girlfriend" might not be a club banger but definitely will give you a bubbly vibe like eating watermelon in the summertime.

Great vocals, hard working producers and smooth lyrics are what helped this album to come out great and on time. Even though in many tracks Q’s voice is faint Day 26 as a whole is still on the rise and is better then ever.
